Pure Old-School Finnish Death Metal

A New Monument in Finnish Death Metal

Born from the depths of the Finnish underground, KORPSESOTURI stands as an uncompromising force in pure old-school death metal. The band rejects modern trends and commercial polish. Instead, they focus on the core elements of the genre: raw heaviness, overwhelming aggression, and a suffocating atmosphere. Monolithic guitars, catastrophic percussion, and cavernous vocals define their sound. Together, these elements create a crushing death-metal attack with no unnecessary distractions.

Korplish Sedamon marks the latest peak in KORPSESOTURI’s relentless 12-year journey into the darkest depths of Finnish death metal.

Twelve Years of Underground Death Metal

Since their formation in 2014, KORPSESOTURI has built a strong reputation within the extreme-metal underground. The band has remained committed to its own vision while refusing to follow changing industry trends. Much of this new album comes from the uncompromising vision of multi-instrumentalist Juha Ahlfors. He wrote all of the music and lyrics for the record. He also recorded the guitars, bass, and vocals.

In addition, Ahlfors handled the production, mixing, and mastering. His complete involvement gives the album a focused and cohesive identity from beginning to end.

Pure Old-School Death Metal

KORPSESOTURI simply delivers old-school death metal. More importantly, they deliver it with conviction. For listeners who value the darker side of Finnish extreme metal, Korplish Sedamon deserves attention. The album combines crushing guitar work, punishing drums, deep vocals, and a relentlessly dark atmosphere.

Furthermore, the record represents the band’s continued commitment to authentic death metal after more than a decade in the underground.
