Artist Submission Guidelines

Before you contact Brutal Records, review the information below carefully. Many common questions already receive answers here.

A&R Submission Inquiry

Q: We are a band and want to be considered by Brutal Records. How do we proceed?

A: We evaluate every submission based on artistic quality, originality, and professional readiness. In addition, we look for strong songwriting, technical performance, and a clear artistic identity.

If your music meets these standards, you should submit your demo for review. However, we only sign artists that align with or meaningfully stand apart from our existing roster.

We receive a high volume of submissions. Therefore, response times may vary. If you do not receive a reply within a few weeks, this does not indicate rejection. Instead, it reflects the number of demos we process.

To ensure proper review, you must follow the submission requirements below exactly.

Submission Requirements (Mandatory)

You must send all submissions by email only. Do not send CDs, USB drives, or physical press kits. We do not review unsolicited physical submissions.

In addition, your email must include all required information listed below:

1. Communication Requirements

• You must write all communication in English
• You must include complete contact details

2. Band Information

• Band name
• Contact name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Location (city and country)

3. Online Presence

• Website (if available)
• Social media profiles (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, etc.)
• Streaming platforms (Spotify, Bandcamp, SoundCloud, etc.)

4. Demo Material

• You must provide private streaming links only (SoundCloud, unlisted YouTube, Dropbox streaming links, etc.)
• Do not attach audio files directly to your email
• Do not send large file attachments

5. Band Biography

Include a short but clear overview of your band. For example:

• Formation history
• Musical direction
• Artistic identity

6. Press & Achievements (if available)

• Include reviews, interviews, or press coverage with links
• Add touring history if applicable
• Mention studio collaborations or notable producers

Important Notes

We automatically discard emails that contain attachments. Therefore, you must follow the link-only rule.

We only review properly formatted submissions. In addition, you should ensure all links remain active and accessible.

Keep your submission clear, professional, and concise. As a result, your demo will receive a faster and more accurate review.
